As you, our friends and family, start to look at this blog, please realize that it is in a state of progress. My intent is to keep it during our time in Paris to remember our adventures and experiences. I will begin adding blogs regularly after August 1st when we arrive. So please add it to your favorites and check back after that date. Below is the results of our house hunting trip in July. We LOVE the house we found! Even though I had hoped for a one story, all we looked at were four stories. Andrew will have the "treehouse" room at the top. Sheer joy for this little boy! It has a finished cellar and a beautiful garden with attached sunroom in the back. It is constructed of a type of highly sought after native stone which is distinctively french. We look forward to finding out the age and history of this house. (Once a history teacher--always a history teacher).

Wowzers!! I am so excited for you to be moving to France! You know, we are in Scotland, so just a short flight away!! We'll have to get together sometime...in France?? How long will you be there?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG BROTHER!! i LOVE YOU!!!
Hey, this is Hatch! Congratulations on having made the decision to move forward in life, into a situation, which is sure to be an incredible experience!!! I'm proud of you. The house does look cool - good find! You know I love historic gems like that - I loved living in The Cottonland Castle, which proved to be a unique experience - one I'm truly glad we had. I can't wait to hear about what takes you to France, and how long you expect to be there... I wish you the very best! I liked how you named your blog-site the Walker Family Circus - we named our houseboat The Family Circus! And whereas yours is a three-ring circus, ours was (and is) a four-ring circus! We certainly have great memories of y'all from our earlier years. I know you're gonna really rack up the memories of your life-exerience in France - way to go!
Can't wait to hear about your adventures in France! Your family is in my prayers for a safe and easy move!
