We spent the rest of the morning hitting all the stores and loving the traditional Alsacian handicrafts and products. It was a little colder than we had planned for so we also picked up gloves, a scarf for Andrew and new hats for the girls.
The kids then took a ride on the most beautiful, antique, double-decker carousel in one of the town squares. (I hope you can see the faces in the action shot--I just love them).

Really beautiful place! Hubby was going to spend a weekend there when he was working in Germany for two weeks straight, but it wound up not working out. He really wanted to go to the wineries, or at least pick up a nice bottle of wine to bring home! Looks like the kids are having a great time exploring their new country! Jealous! :)
