A Day at Disney
Thursday, October 2nd, we got up early and caught a 5:30 train to Disneyland Paris. We were going to celebrate the girls birthday on Friday but for this day we would focus on the whole family. We were there by 7:00, checked into the Disneyland Hotel, dropped off our bags and headed into the park for some Extra Magic Hours. Since our hotel was actually in the park, we got two extra hours before the park opened, didn't have to deal with parking, bus or tram rides and it saved the little legs many extra steps.

For these first few hours, we basically had the park to ourselves. The kids got a round in on all of the rides (minus the few they were not tall enough for).

For lunch we stopped at Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet and then dodged the rain by riding the Disneyland Railroad.

A few more rounds of shopping and rides and we ended the day with the Once Upon A Dream Parade. There was some serious dancing in the street (on our part). Ha!

We had dinner at King Ludwig's Castle, enjoyed some great Bavarian food and escaped the rain once again. As it was dark when we got finished, I snapped this evening shot of the hotel.
