Disney...Cowboy Style

Sunday, we skipped church (yes, we were heathens) and headed out to Disneyland to celebrate Andrew's birthday. He went with a "cowboy" theme this year so we took advantage of what Disney had to offer. We stayed at the Cheyenne Hotel in the Annie Oakley bungalow. As always Disney does themes to the hilt, so we had plenty of western surroundings.

We spent the morning in Frontierland soaking up all of that "Texas" culture.
We had Andrew's character lunch at the Lucky Nugget Saloon and yes, Bella was with us on this trip, she just happily waved to the characters from her seat--that was close enough.

Pluto brought Andrew his birthday cake and we enjoyed some lively music...
...then we headed back out for some more western fun.
We had dinner at a great steakhouse in Disney Village then Andrew was excited to get back to the hotel and sleep in his bunk bed.

Oh how fun!! Cody and I were talking about going to Disneyland Paris in April next year for my birthday (well, it was a very brief conversation, but I remembered it). Now...isn't your birthday in April too (sorry, my memory is bad)? Maybe we should plan a birthday celebration in Paris?!?

We can't wait to go to Disney with y'all. Such fun. It looks like Bella is getting braver with the characters!!

Cool bunkbed, Andrew!
